For Clients

I know that together we can address this challenge one step at a time. The freedom and peace that comes with accomplishing this renewed relationship with your body and food is so worth the work.

Thank you for taking the first step and exploring the support options that are available to you on your journey in self care. I know that starting the search wasn’t easy. Whether this is your first dip into recovery, you are returning for continued support, or if you’re making the transition from inpatient to outpatient care, I’m here to help you sort through the confusion of nutritional rehabilitation while you find peace with food and your body. Working through these issues is challenging, and I promise my compassionate and warm style of nutrition therapy will help to ease the stress of addressing them. While the emotional work of making these changes can be heavy, I use humor and metaphor to soften the transition back to a sound mindset and healthful eating habits that align with your values and support your health.

During our first appointment I will assess your overall nutrition and risk status to ensure that we take the appropriate steps to get you on the right track to making the necessary adjustments to improve your relationship with food. We can then set personalized goals that will help you along the way and I will provide helpful tools to support you in achieving them including strategies to apply in grocery stores, restaurants, and resources to assist with cooking skills that meet you where you’re at. We live in a culture that makes nutrition out to be an all or nothing confusing math problem, when in reality you are the expert on your own body. I will help you cut out the noise and learn to tune into your needs so that you are able to nourish and fuel your body and mind without fear and restriction.

Recovering from disordered eating and unhelpful thought patterns around body image is difficult. It can provoke uncomfortable feelings and emotions and I am here to support you through that process. I will communicate appointment details with your treatment team consistently so that you receive informed and effective care. I know that together we can address this challenge one step at a time. The freedom and peace that comes with accomplishing this renewed relationship with your body and food is so worth the work.

If I sound like a good match, please reach out to schedule an introductory call today. The sooner we begin the sooner you can escape the trap of disordered eating and start living an empowered and fulfilling life again!

I'm Ready To Help You!
